Hermiston is home to Good Shepherd Medical
Center and Columbia Professional Plaza Medical Facility (with modern diagnostic
and surgical facilities). Approximately 33 physicians and a full range of
dental, orthodontic, chiropractic and physical therapy and lab services are
available. An additional seven hospitals are located within 60-mile radius of
the city.
Ambulance service is provided by the
Hermiston Fire Department.
The city offers
several health clinics and an Urgent Health Care Center. Many elderly and
